Quotations

Surveys in the Hampshire area are free and carry no obligation. Quotations are given verbally, by email or in writing and are based on what can be seen at the time. Where opening up reveals something that could not reasonably have been seen — a seized mechanism, a previous repair, damage inside a door — we will tell you before doing further work, not afterwards.

Emergency callouts

You are given a price before we set off, and that is the price. It does not change on the doorstep. We will ask you to show that you are entitled to be in the property before opening it; that is not optional, and it is there for your protection as much as anyone’s.

Guarantee

All our work is covered by a one year guarantee from the date of the visit. The guarantee covers our workmanship and the parts we supply. It does not cover damage caused afterwards by force, attempted break-in, misuse, or work done by somebody else.

Safes and installation

Advice on ratings and sizing is given in good faith and independently, but the requirement is your insurer’s to state. Please confirm the cash rating with them before ordering. Installation quotes assume reasonable access; where access turns out to be materially different from what was described, we will re-quote before proceeding.

Payment

All major debit and credit cards are accepted. Payment is due on completion of the work.
